Scarce WWII enamel cap / uniform badge with original brooch pin fitting to the reverse believed to be worn by officers of the WJAC. An aero-plane in a blue / green enamel triangle with the titles, Women's Junior Air Corps to the outer white enamel triangle. Formed in 1940 to encourage girls to a "spirit of patriotism and loyalty". Worn both as a cap badge and tie pin. In superb condition with no damage to enamel.
