Circa 22mm in diameter, with shank to the reverse. Maker marked Pitt & Co, 50 St Martin 's Lane ( in London ). This was the address from which Pitt & Co operated between 1875 and 1895. A fox head with three entwined letters below - SHH. Gilt worn but button in generally good condition.

Pair of Large Pattern Flat Hunt Buttons - Duke of Beaufort 's Hunt ( Gloucestershire )

Each circa 22mm in diameter, with fixed shanks. Maker marked Jennens & Co London ( with PoW feathers). One shank bent over but still functional. Gilt remaining to reverse only. Decorative engraving with two entwined letters ' BH '. Believed to have been worn by hunt servants on the traditional green coat as well as on the red hunting jacket. Some minor staining.
