WW1 Herts (Hertfordshire) Voluntary Aid Detachment VAD badge

A scarce original First World War period 'Voluntary Aid Detachment Herts badge'; gilt red enamel title surround, a 'Hart' to voided centre, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'JR Gaunt London'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel. Circa 2.6cms tall.
