WW2 Royal Artillery Plastic Economy Cap Badge mounted on RA Felt Badge Backing

Complete with its original blades, maker marked 'A Stanley & Sons, Walsall'. In very good condition with no distortion and no crazing of the cellulose acetate plastic. Sometimes incorrectly described as Bakelite. Mounted on Royal Artillery coloured felt. As worn from 1942 as a cap badge (seven fames to the grenade as per the RA issue).
