WW1 City of London Police Reserve Special Sergeant Constabulary Mufti Blue Enamel Lapel Badge
A scarce Sergeant's lapel badge, shows quite a bit of service wear to the enamel and it has some nibbles, dulling and scratches. Original horseshoe maker marked JR Gaunt & Son London. Despite condition, hard to find. This was a small force.

WW1 Durham City Special Constable Constabulary Police Enamel Gilt Mufti Lapel Buttonhole Badge
A rare badge from this very small force. Not to be confused with the frequently encountered Durham County specials badge from the same era. Some surface scratches to the enamel but otherwise intact. Original horseshoe fixing and maker marked Thomas Fattorini, Bolton.

A good original First World War large bronzed cap badge. A crowned title circlet with Royal Arms to centre, the reverse with maker's details "W.O.Lewis Howards St Birmingham". Very good condition, slight touch of verdigris to front, small die flaw to rear, original two loop fittings. Normally found as a lapel.
Circa 49mm tall.

Volunteer Civil Force ( Winston’s Bobbies ) White metal cap badge with pin fitting for Bowler Hat
A finely detailed die-stamped white metal VCF cap badge with original pin fitting, the very tip of the pin blunted, otherwise fully functional. Circa 5.7cms tall. This pattern was apparently for wear on the bowler hat of volunteers.
