Guards Armoured Division Embroidered Cloth Formation Sign Badge
A cloth embroidered formation sign for the Guards Armoured Division. Removed from uniform. The badge design is of a white 'ever open' eye on a blue shield with a red border. Some signs of service wear to edges and the white of the eye now more light grey otherwise in good overall condition.

Removed from uniform and still attached to a patch of battledress cloth, a nicely embroidered example of the red leaping gazelle on a white circle in a red diamond with a narrow white border. Facing left. In very good condition. According to Oliver Lock also worn by those Italians who had opted to fight on the allies side as F Recce Squadron.
