Victorian White Metal British Volunteer Artillery Forage Cap Badge - Smaller Pattern
As worn on the pill box or peaked cap by many Volunteer Artillery Other Ranks across the Kingdom, a white metal grenade with seven flames with two original toned loops to the reverse. Circa 4.1cms tall. Lovely item. Circa 1860 - 1902. One sees the larger ten and fourteen flame versions much more often. There is also a Grenadier Guards style pattern with 17 flames but in white metal.

Edwardian (Scottish) Border Rifle Volunteers Other Rank's Glengarry Badge
An Edwardian King's Crown blackened brass glengarry badge for the Border Rifle Volunteers. Some rippling and bending from service wear but in generally good condition complete with two of two original loops to reverse (some bending to these). Circa 53mm tall and 36mm wide. This unit was affiliated to the King's Own Scottish Borderers, becoming their 4th Battalion in 1908.

105th Lanarkshire Rifle Volunteers Corps (RVC) Glengarry Badge
This is a genuine and scarce example which is much copied. It is die stamped silver plate with two original silvered loops to the reverse. It appears to have a gilt wash finish on the oval motto srcoll. A really lovely example with sharp detail and of superb quality, possibly officer/senior NCO issue. Circa 5.4cms tall. Circa 1868 - 1880.
