106th Bombay Light Infantry (2nd Bn DLI) Officers Large Pattern Brass Button
A gilt button, circa 26mm in diameter, fixed shank and backmarked Jennens & Co, PoW feathers, London. Worn circa 1855 - 1881. It has been cleaned and gilt is mainly back to the brass and it has a small stain to front edge at about 1 o'clock. Condition reflected in price, sold as seen.

A Rare Pair of Early Royal Navy Officers Buttons pre 1774
A Royal Navy Captain's Silver Tunic Button as worn from 1757- 1774 (circa 14mm across) and a less well struck Royal Navy Lieutenant's button of the same era (circa 17mm in diameter), the latter most probably excavated. Both with original shanks. Rare.

6th Gurkha ( Queen Elizabeths Own ) Rifles Set of two Unmarked Silver Mufti Blazer Buttons (QEII crowns)
Each battalion of Gurkhas somewhat uniquely in the British Army had its own silversmith. These buttons were made by the regimental silver smith of the 6th Gurkha Rifles. They are flat, cast in silver and both have a silver shank. The larger of the two is circa 19mm in diameter and the smaller 12mm in diameter.
