A small attractive King's Crown enamelled unmarked silver lapel badge for the Officer's Training Corps (OTC). Made by J.R. Gaunt, London. In good condition complete with a lapel button-hole fixing. No damage to enamel. Registered design number 627163 to reverse, which gives this design a registration date of between 1913 and 1914.

The swan was the ancient badge of the de Bohun family from whence it passed to the Stafford Dukes of Buckingham. Circa 3cm tall with two small original twisted copper wire loops to the reverse.
