West Indies - Barbados Regiment White Metal Cap Badge

An extremely attractive and scarce cap badge (post 1948 issue), well made in white metal to the Defence Force of the Caribbean Commonwealth island of Barbados. Two original lugs (east -west). Slight polishing to finer high points, but about 9 out of 10 condition-wise. 5.1cm across and 5cm high.

In good condition with two original lugs to the reverse. Circa 3.3cm wide and 1.3cm tall. Britain's possessions in the South Pacific were amongst the smallest imperial holdings. Scarce.

Royal Malta Militia Brass Other Ranks Collar Badges - Victorian Imperial Crowns (also worn by bandsmen of the 62nd Foot (The Wiltshire Regiment) (1873 -1881))

Not a matched pair. Two original lugs to the reverse of each. In good condition, with some squeezing to the loops on one of them and slight colour difference between the two of them to front. Pre 1902. Scarce.

Chruchill notes that the bandsmen of the 62nd Foot wore this badge 1873 - 1881 in honour of their service in the Mediterranean (No 1498 refers).  read more
