A scarce brass shoulder title,1 / Kent. Worn by the 1 / 1st Battalion Kent Cyclists in India from 1916. The numeral 1 cut down from a T in a T Kent title, as often found. Cast versions are also found. Three original loops to the reverse.

An excellent matched facing pair of these hard to find pre WW1 regular battalion shoulder titles with two original hexagonal lugs to the reverse. Circa 3.3cm tall and 4.5cm wide. Great condition. Worn circa 1885 - 1907.
