4th / 5th / 6th / 7th Battalion (Territorial Force) The Black Watch (Royal Highlanders) Other Ranks White Metal Glengarry Badge - No Sphinx
A scarce Territorial Force badge (post 1908) as worn by the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th Battalions pre WW1 without the Sphinx. Two original large copper loops with splayed feet (some service wear to these), as only found on this badge. This pattern has both Lacessit and Lacesset spellings on the oval scroll, this one being 'Lacessit'. In very good condition with sharp detail. King's crown.
1st Battalion, The Monmouthshire Regiment White Metal Cap Badge, post 1922 pattern
A die good struck white metal cap badge as worn by the 1st Battalion, The Monmouthshire Regiment ( Territorials ). The Welsh Dragon to the centre of a crowned wreath of poppies and laurel with scrolls bearing battle honours. With original slider to the reverse.

Some slight loss of detail from polishing, a full size yellow brass cap badge with original slider. 14 laurel leaves on this pattern in place of UBIQUE on the upper scroll (most patterns encountered have 6 leaves per side). In good condition.

6th Battalion Royal Hamphsire Regiment ( 383 A/Tk Regiment RA ( TA)) White Metal Cap Badge - Firmin
As worn from 1947 by the Royal Artillery version of the Regiment with the Hampshire scroll discarded and all in white metal. A fine badge in very good condition and original slider stamped correctly with the manufacturer's details, Firmin London.

West Surrey 3rd Volunteer Battalion Victorian Glengarry Badge, 1881-1902
An original bi-metal glengarry badge to the West Surrey 3rd Volunteer Battalion (metals reversed). Circa 70mm tall and 48mm wide. In very good condition but top loop behind crown has been neatly removed leaving 2 of 3 original loops to reverse.

Circa 1901 - 1908. In very good condition.
5th RV became the 5th (Hay Tor) VB and in 1908 the 5th Battalion TA.
