Highland Light Infantry (HLI) Other Ranks White Metal Glengarry Cap Badge - Long Scroll Pattern

Highland Light Infantry (HLI) Other Ranks White Metal Glengarry Cap Badge - Long Scroll Pattern

A die struck cap badge, not properly cut out on bottom section of the cross arms. Two original D style loops to the reverse. Allegedly these appeared during WW1 and possibly the long scroll is just a manufacturer's variation as opposed to signify a particular battalion or force (i.e. territorials). There are a number of variations found with and without die flaws.

Worcestershire Regiment Valise Badge, 2nd pattern, circa 1881 - 1890

A heavy cast gilt brass valise badge for The Worcestershire Regiment with the usual 'box' fastening. Some minor wear to gilt finish on bottom rays otherwise in great condition and rare.

Northumberland Fusiliers Other Ranks Brass Gilding Metal Slouch Hat / Pagri Badge

A khaki or grey felt slouch hat often worn with a badge on the upturned side. Circa 1900. Similar to the glengarry badge in size, this was a different design to these, with laurel leaves on a circlet in plate of the motto strap.
