72nd (Duke of Albany's Own Highlanders) Regiment of Foot Other Ranks Feather Bonnet Badge, c1825 - 1881
A large stiff brass die struck badge with two original loops to the reverse (some bending with service wear but fully functional). Traces of the original gilt wash still evident in the nooks and crannies but mainly now back to a dark toned brass. The other pattern (K&K Vol 1 No 536) is wildly copied, but not this pattern which Bloomer claims was worn on the Feather Bonnet. Circa 8.8cms tall.... read more

Victorian 60th Foot Glengarry Badge, pre 1881 - Later the KRRC
An original nicely voided blackened brass glengarry badge for The 60th Foot (later 1st battalion King's Royal Rifle Corps (KRRC)) with two original brass lug fastenings (east and west) - some twisting to these but fully functional. It would have been worn against a red felt backing. In great condition and a very pleasing example.

20th Regiment of Foot (East Devon) Territorial Glengarry Badge, pre 1881
A very pleasing example in yellow brass with original brass loops (east - west) and a maroon felt backing which has some age to it but has not been removed as glued in place. Earlier pattern, also found in white metal. Worn circa 1874-1881. Two brass loops East/West to the reverse. Became The Lancashire Fusiliers Regiment in 1881.

79th Foot (Cameron Highlanders) White Metal Pre 1900 Glengarry Badge
Of exceptional quality with two long black dark toned loops to the reverse (some twisting but functional and with cotter pin) . A fantastic strike. This size and pattern pre 1874 - 1900. Found in both brass and white metal but without the scroll.

A superb original yellow brass example with north -south brass loops. Sharp detail.
A brass badge as worn on the undress glengarry cap from 1874 - 1881. Originally raised in 1755, the 55th (Westmorland) Regiment's nickname was 'the Two Fives' after their numeral.
