These were issued so as to be invisible on night patrols. Retains almost all the factory applied black finish. Very difficult to come by as they were only issued in small numbers. Lugs original but slightly bent inwards. Circa 1960's / 70's.

A gorgeous silver plated example die cast with three of three screw posts with original retaining nuts to the reverse and mounted on a silvered back plate (the number '10' scratched lightly to the reverse. As worn from 1957 - 1994. Circa 106mm tall and 75mm wide.

There are two varieties of motto scroll, "BY DAND" and "BYDAND", this one being of the latter variety. Two original short copper loops. In very good condition with sharp detail. A good stiff badge but most probably a post WW2 issue.
