The Essex Regiment (44th & 56th Foot) - Standard Pattern Castle Other Ranks Bi-metal Cap Badge
In very good condition with original slider and five sweat / braising holes to the reverse. One of the best striking's of this badge I have ever seen. Gaylor confirms a WW1 brass economy version also.

The Sherwood Foresters (Derbyshire Regiment) (45th & 95th Foot)
The Victorian pattern cap badge with two original dark toned loops to the reverse. Some signs of service wear - one foot of the white metal star slightly lifted from its securing tab on the brass scroll - and especially to the loops, but in good overall condition. As worn until 1902 when the badge was corrected to include Nottinghamshire.

The Loyal Regiment (North Lancashire) (47th & 81st Foot) Victorian Issue Other Ranks Bi-Metal Cap Badge
A very good striking with all the fiddly bits present and correct and two original dark toned loops to the reverse. Worn circa 1897 to 1901 with a Victorian crown and to 1921 with a King's Imperial Crown. The badge changed to a new pattern with the scroll altered to read "The Loyal Regiment".

The Northamptonshire Regiment (48th & 58th Foot) Bi-Metal Cap Badge - First (Regimental) Pattern Castle
Victorian issue first pattern castle (regimental pattern) and longer key turned towards the right. Worn pre 1901. This example with an original slider rather than lugs, presumably for wear on the Brodrick Cap. Some signs of service wear but in good condition.

All brass version with original slider. A worn example but detail still good. Introduced circa 1916. Gaylor confirms an all brass economy issue for this Regiment.

Kings Own ( Yorkshire Light Infantry ) (KOYLI) ( 51st & 105th Foot) Large Smasher / Pagri Hat Bi-Metal Cap Badge
Worn on the Smasher (Slouch) Hat. Gaylor claims the Pagri. Huge badge compared to the normal issue (see the second photo for a comparison with the badge listed below). Bi-metal with sweat hole to the reverse. Lugs look different in colour but both original. A smashing badge!
