A scarce, white metal, Edward 7th pattern cap badge for The Royal Engineers (Volunteers) with original slider to reverse (this has been clipped at the bottom end of the badge. Long slider suggests an early Brodrick cap issue. Scarce.

Of two part construcion with two original loops to reverse. This is in excellent condition and has a real quality to it. No damage to enamel and maker marked Ludlow, London. Quite a hard badge to find as worn for two years only between 1947 and 1949, so post WW2.

A stunning and scarce pair of officer's silver gilt and enamel cap badge with 2 loops to reverse, of two part construction. Bottom scroll on all bearing motto 'Sua Tela Tonanti'. Enamel good and undamaged and all in very good condition. Maker marked JR Gaunt London and stamped "P" for silver plated elements. Worn 1947-1949 only. Rare.
