Royal Artillery Volunteers Generic Victorian QVC Officer's silver plated busby badge & plume holder
A silver-plated example circa 1859-78. Flaming grenade, the ball of one mounted with Royal Arms over a gun resting on a scroll “Quo fas et gloria ducunt”. Reverse retains original plume holder and slider fitting. 3 of 4 retaining wires for mounted device to rear. Silver dark toned. Some signs of service wear and staining to silver plate otherwise in good condition. Worn circa 1859-1901.
