WW1 Bombardment of Hartlepool 1914 commemorative Gilt and Enamel Medallion

A scrace gilt metal and enamel badge issued by the Hartlepool hospital fund every year of the great war 1914-1919 to raise funds and commemorate the bombardment of Hartlepool on December 16th 1914 by the German Navy. There were a number of differernt patterns. This one is suspended from a maroon ribbon and the wording is as follows:

"Thanksgiving Day - In Memory of Dec 16 1914".

Good condition, with no enamel chips or damage.
