Very rare WW1 Coventry ( Warwickshire ) Volunteer Force Training Corps Cap Badge

Circa 4.3cm tall and 3.5cm wide at widest point. Two original lugs, east - west, some staining to elehpant's head which I have not attempted to clean. Slight distortion and twisting to badge, but strong firm brass and never seen this before. Any information welcome.
