British War Medal to Royal Naval Air Service ( R.N.A.S. ) George Praerer Haines (Stratford -on Avon, Warwickshire) - his only medal and with box of issue

Medal in EF condition with original ribbon. Correctly impressed to F.22687 G.P. Haines, A.M.I., R.N.A.S. Box in good condition but grubby.

Medal comes with some research, copy of 1911 census confirming his birth year as 1888 and his trade as carpenter. Copy of Medal roll confirming entitled to BWM only, meaning he served at one of the airbases in England, Attached President 2 and at Cranwell. Also a copy of 1918 RAF roll which confirms his Royal Air Force Number as222687 and his new rate as Rigger (Aero). He joined the RNAS in October 1916.
