WW1 Victory Medal ( VM ) Army Service Corps ( ASC ) to Acting CQMS John G Watson

VM has some black stains to it, replacement ribbon. Rim correctly impressed:

"DM2 - 232045 A.C.Q.M. Sjt. J.G. Watson. A.S.C."

MIC confirms his entitlement to a BWM & VM pair only, and his forename as John. Unusual prefix ( DM2 ), which according to Wilkinson was only found on ASC medals to Driver Mechanics. However, another source states is stands for "Mechanical Transport Learner", which I presume means he was a Driving Instructor in today's parlance.

Copy of MIC provided which confirms his entitlement to a BWM as well as a VM.
