'Mounted Infantry at capture of General Cronje at Modder River, South Africa'

Dismounted C.I.V. mounted infantry soldiers in slouch hats (on one you can just make out the brass letters CIV) at the arrival of a captured Boer leader. Image in good condition, very slight lifting to edges of image with usual curve to card. This one is an Underwood and Underwood card.

'City Imperial Volunteers ( CIV ) at Cape Town, South Africa'

CIV soldiers in slouch hats and piled arms having disembarked for the war in South Africa. Image slightly faded but still reasonable. Copyright 1900.
