A rare original First World War period Womens War Agricultural Committee Wales Monmouthshire', gilded brass example inlaid with green enamel, the centre depicting a plough on furrowed ground, the reverse with maker's details "W.O.Lewis Howard St Birmm". Very good condition, one small edge nick to reverse which does not detract, retaining original pin fittings, enamel undamaged, gilt remains bright, a pleasing example.
