Victorian QVC Royal Artillery Other Ranks helmet plate circa 1878-1902

A fine Victorian die stamped brass 1878 pattern blue cloth helmet plate to the Royal Artillery. The Royal Arms, with piercing around the shield, with Dieu Et Mon Droit scroll below . Below a scroll inscribed Quo Fas Et Gloria Ducunt. Two of two toned loops to the reverse. There are a few minor marks to finish and sadly the only damage appears to be the unicorn who is missing most of his delicate horn. Damage to unicorn reflected in the price, otherwise in lovely condition.
