De Havilland Aircraft Company production workers silver badge dated 1939

A scarce original De Havilland Aircraft Company production workers small silver lapel badge in the form of the companies logo, an aircraft fighter plane with blue enamel 'D' and 'H' superimposed over each wing, with 1939 below, the reverse impressed 'Silver' (only the last three letters visible due to the placement of the horseshoe). Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole horseshoe style fitting, no damage to the enamel. Circa 1.8cms tall and 2.7cms wide. Scarce.
