Straight Settlements (Singapore) Penang Volunteers Bi Metal Cap Badge

Die struck with two original loops to the reverse. Circa 4.8cms tall. In very good condition. Worn 1902 - 1921.

The corps was comprised European, Malay and Chinese infantry companies which, at the outbreak of WW1, had a combined strength of 300.

Cox confirms worn in bi-metal also and into sizes, this being the smaller pattern (1025). Collar badges were of a different design (1026).
