WW1 Memorial Scroll in Original Addressed Cardboard Tube - Driver George Henry Richards, Royal Field Artillery (RFA) Territorials

A scarce complete tube containing its original scroll. I have had to photograph the scroll behind a plastic sheet to keep it flat given its propensity to want to curl back up. Addressed to Mr H Richards of 2 Shirley Villas, Erith Road, Bexley Heath (Bexleyheath, Kent). War office stamp to the OHMS label. He died on 29th April 1918. With the original corrugated ends. Scroll in very good condition.

Supplied with a copy of his CWGC Certificate and MIC. MIC confirms entered France on 22nd December 1914, but too late for the 1914 Star but was awarded a 1915 Trio. MIC reveals he served at some point with 175th (Staffordshire) Brigade Royal Field Artillery. When he died he was in the UK, presumably on account of sickness , attached to the 4th Reserve Brigade RFA. He was attached to Territorial Force and had the following service numbers; 658 and 915276. He was interred in Bexleyheath Cemetery.
