Royal Artillery QVC Victorian Officers No 1 Full Dress Dress Pouch Belt and Pouch

Belt maker marked Hobson & Sons (London) Ltd. Embroidery to front panel of pouch in good condition. The gold lace braid is lifting in places from the edges of the pouch and needs to be either re stitched or left 'as is'. Slight lifting also on the gold lace braid on the edges of belt and some rippling but generally in good condition. The main damage is to the back top edge of the pouch where there is some wear to the lion's rump and also some holes in the black felt which have been either partially darned or left exposed to show the white canvas mesh lining. Not visible when viewed from straight on. The pouch fittings are intact and functional. Gilt metal fittings bright with only slight wear to finish on the high points. Given its age and wear, in good overall condition, but it could benefit from some TLC in the right hands!
