WW2 Quarter Gunners Arm badge with separate DEMS Merchant Marine Title

This configuration worn by DEMS (Defensively Equipped Merchant Ships) by Merchant Marine and Army Personnel allocated to such ships. the Quarter Gunners cloth, removed from uniform. The DEMS title appears to have been unissued, but they look good together.

AFO 3210/43 dated 15th July 1943, authorised this configuration for Acting Seaman Gunner D.E.M.S. Badges were issued in both red and blue.
