A good colour, correctly found in Bi-Metal, no feet to loops, correct underscore under the 'nd' of 2nd. Some loss of detail to the three stripes on the shield from polishing and service wear. The most numerous of the Manchester Volunteer Battalion badges as also the most numerous and popular. A genuine example of this heavily reproduced badge.
