WW1 Patriotic John Bull and British BullDog Enamel & Brass Buttonhole Lapel Badge - To Hell with the Kaiser!

Depicting in relief, a defiant 'John Bull ' wearing 'Royal Naval Brigade' uniform with ammunition bandoliers and cutlass to hand, beside him his faithful 'British Bulldog' with 'Union Flag' stands as defiant. Brass now dark toned, enamel a bit faded
(has lost its lustre in part) and almost intact, a small gap / chip in it just before the word 'Hell', possibly a firing fault but lets settle on chip, and the Union Jack seems also to have lost some of its enamel. Overall has some age to it but a scarce patriotic lapel with strong imagery. Original buttonhole with registered design number to reverse 641709, which dates it to 1914. Circa 3.4cms tall. Scarce.
