The Federated Malay States Railways (FMSR) Silver Cap Badge - Engine Driver's Badge?

The Federated Malay States Railways (FMSR) was formed in 1901 and remained so named until 1948. This is a really nice piece hand engraved on unmarked hand beaten silver with two original loops to the reverse. A fine acquisition for the commonwealth railway enthusiast. Rare.

After the Japanese Occupation ended in 1945, the FMSR was reorganised into the Malayan Railways in 1948 as the Federated and Unfederated Malay States were unified into the Federation of Malaya.
