WW2 Home Front - King’s Commendation for Brave Conduct plastic economy badge 1943 to 1945

A scarce original circa 1943 to 1945 wartime issue 'King’s Commendation for Brave Conduct plastic economy issue badge' in the form of a Crowned oval laurel wreath; within the wreath a tablet inscribed 'For Brave Conduct' superimposed on an upright sword all on a red plastic ground, the reverse impressed in relief with Registration Number 'R.D.839943 PAT. APP. FOR'. In good overall condition, complete with original pin fittings, colour remains good, some slight distortion. Circa 3.8cms tall.
