WW1 Canada - 86th Machine Gun (Infantry) Battalion Canadian Expeditionary Force (CEF) Sweetheart Pin Brooch Badge

A silver washed over gilding metal die struck sweetheart brooch in very good condition with original and functional pin fitting. The reverse looks maker marked with 'Lees' embossed on one side and '& Co' (very feint) on the other. Some wear to silver wash on the highpoints, this looks deliberate.

The 86th (Machine Gun) Battalion, CEF was an infantry battalion of the Canadian Expeditionary Force, which was raised for overseas service during World War I.
