Royal Army Chaplains' Department Enamel (RAChD) QEII Issue Badge - Unusual Fittings

Queen's crown silver gilt and enamel die cast of two part construction cap or stole badge with unusual screw post fittings with original retaining nuts to the reverse. No damage to enamel. Gilt and silver plate bright. A quatrefoil to the centre of a voided circlet bearing the motto backed with blue enamel upon a Maltese cross within a crowned wreath of oak and laurel. It is 3.2cm tall but slightly larger than the usual collar badge. Given the smaller size and unusual fittings, I suspect it is some kind of stole badge. Confirmation welcome. Worn post 1953 - 2023, as now an obsolete as QEII issue.
