Scarce Interwar Image of Durham Light Infantry DLI Signallers Wearing Astrachan Fur Caps (Dominion of Canada Style)

This photo shows a group of DLI soldiers wearing greatcoats and fur caps, of Astrachan pattern similar to those worn by Canadians in cold weather (see 1900 Dress regulations p77 and Plate 11). Worn by 2nd Battalion soldiers when posted to China in late 1920s. Scarce original image, blank reverse. Circa 9cms tall and 6cms wide.
