Royal Berkshire Regiment Officers Boss Badge - Gilt Metal Device, circa 1902 - 1920

Royal Berkshire Regiment - Without 'R Berks' below the dragon indicating a 1902-1920 issue mounted on a red/ maroon cord boss with two retaining wires still present. I think this has been mounted on the wrong coloured cord boss. According to K&K it should have been fitted to a khaki cord boss and worn with a red felt backing. It can be easily removed and applied to the correct colour boss if you happen to have one (final photo demonstrates how easily it can be changed over). Error reflected in price. Sold as seen.
