The Royal Irish Rifles ( 83rd & 86th Foot) - Other Ranks Victorian Crown Blackened Brass Metal Cap Badge, 1898 - 1902 only

A good blackened brass metal die struck cap badge with two original loops to the reverse. One usually encounters the larger Glengarry badge of this period (K&K Vol 1 No 689). Circa 4cms tall. Rare.

K&K Vol 1 No 690 refers (but a QVC crown).
