Boer War / WW1 Lancashire Fusiliers Khaki Tropical Helmet Flash

As worn in the 2nd Boer War and WW1 when in tropical theatres. Such flashes were cut from the shoulder straps of discarded red tunics. A mark on the padded ball of the grenade otherwise in very good condition with little signs of wear.
