WW1 ID Identity Disc Pte Harold Pickering Lowes, 1/7th Battalion Durham Light Infantry (DLI) - Died from Wounds (gas)
A private purchase aluminum disc engraved on one side only as follows:

WW1 Medal Card Index confirms Pte Harold Lowes, No 7/1602 entered Theatre 1 ( F&F) on 19 April 1915, was entitled to a 1914-15 Trio and also noted to be on the Silver War Badge roll (Honourably Discharged for wounds on 4th July 1916), SWB No 39290, so an early low numbered award, but despite his discharge he died two years later in 1918 at home from his wounds (gas). Copy of MIC and CWCG certificate / register entry to be provided. Aged 22 at time of death. Worthy of follow up.
7th TF Bn DLI (HQ Sunderland), went to France & Flanders in April 1915.
Original chain attached. This is rusty and clasp as found. Disc in good condition. A tragic Somme casualty. Whereabouts of medals / memorial death plaque unknown.
