Royal Scots Fusiliers OSD Officer's Shoulder Title (early pre 1907 pattern)

Most probably worn from 1902 with the introduction of Officer's Service Dress but Westlake notes photographic evidence of this pattern being worn in the 1890s (p81). It is the smaller version at 1.1cms tall and 2cm wide. Two original hexagonal fixing loops to the reverse. Slight service wear and a few marks otherwise in good condition. From 1907 the pattern with the initials RSF was worn with a separate grenade above. Scarce.
