Original Photo - Queen's Birthday Hong Kong 1959 - Tank takes the Salute

A Comet Tank takes the salute (gun dipped) at the saluting platform, with the officer identified on the reverse as 2nd Lt Oliver (Kowloon). A 66 year old image - in very good condition. A poignant image given the late Queen's recent 100 birthday celebrations and the loss of Hong Kong as a British colony and the withdrawal of the Comet Tank from service in 1958/1959.. Postally unused. Some annotations to reverse and traces of bluetack.
