A rare and attractive engraved large sized gilt button, circa 20mm in diameter, flat backed button with fixed shank. Maker marked Pitt &Co, Maddox St. London.

Worn during the visit by Edward, Prince of Wales, later Duke of Windsor to India & Burma November 17, 1921 - March 7, 1922. He sailed on HMS Renown.
