Original Victorian Cabinet Photograph - Quartermaster-Sergeant 2nd Volunteer Battalion, The East Yorkshire Regiment - Mr Rawlinson

Image in reasonable condition and most interesting insignia. Minor corner wear to top right and trimmed to bottom and corner damage to bottom right with a vertical fault line on the photo which is not a crease. Reverse with decorative backing confirming the photographer to be Boak & Sons at Bridlington Quay and also at Driffield and Malton. In pencil to top of reverse in a comtemporary hand what appears to be "Mr Rawlinson". Any information welcome.

The image itself is a seated portrait photo of a senior NCO of a Volunteer Battalion. The right sleeve shows the rank of Quartermaster Sergeant. His eppaulette appears to have a woven '2 / V / ..ork'.
The collar badges are of the East Yorkshire Regiment pattern. He wears a Long Service Volunteer Medal. Great image of a long serving soldier.
