Fabulous Large Original Edwardian Sepia Photograph - Senior NCOs and Sergeants of the 2nd Volunteer Battalion, the Queens (Royal West Surrey Regiment), Circa 1904 - Sergeant Legg
Pencil annotation by previous owner to reverse. He noted that the name of the soldier standing second from the left (the tallest chap) was one Sergeant Legg. A really fabulous image with sharp detail of Shoulder Belt Plates (some QVC and some KC), a shooting badge with the year 1904, and a good array of QSA medals, a Long Service Medal and one wears on his right breast an Royal Humane Society Medal for Life Saving. Redhill photographer named E Dann & Son. Absolutely stunning. Some foxing to card mount. Circa 33cm by 26cm. On account of size I will post to a UK address only.
