Small, but attractive gilt and enamel Winston's Bobbies supporters Pin Badge Brooch, back-marked - J.R.Gaunt, London. Circa 2.5cm tall.
It depicts Saint George and the Dragon above a central device with conjoined letters "VCF" inlaid with blue and white enamel within a laurel wreath with the words "Law and Order" below.

Artist impression Postcard, depicting the Royal Navy Mediterranean Fleet in a gale sailing from Corfu to Malta December 1911.
Postally used, cancelled in Valletta, Malta, but unfortunately stamp removed. Message on reverse is dated April 1912 from a sailor, Fred Smith to his sister. He was seving in HMS Triumph which is one of the shipes featured on the front of the card. Unusual card and Fred undoubtedly saw First War service.

WW1 Wound Stripe - Lambourne's Birmingham
Well it certainly has lived up to its claim, after all these years! It is in lovely bright gilt condition. This is exactly 2 inches in length and was authorised for wear by Army Order 249 of August 1916 and this was only issued in this size up to 1922 (discontinued for wear on uniform by Army Order 434 of 1922).
