Of two part construction with two original dark toned loops to the reverse. Central long loop clipped off as often found. The silver plate is good but there is a small band of underlying brass across the neck, possibly where a retaining strap was applied on display or when first plated. not particularly obvious from the front. Otherwise a scarce badge in very good condition.

A pair of facing brass collar badges, reasonably good match from front (slighty different wear and minor colour variation), but with different lug configuration to the rear, one has 4 of 4 original lugs to the reverse and the other 2 of 2 original lugs to the reverse. Both are in very good condition.

Corps of Military Accountants (GV) Brass Cap Badge

George V cypher in a voided oval with original slider. Sharp detail and in very good condition. Formed in 1919 and disbanded in 1927, with remaining personnel transferring to the Royal Army Pay Corps RAPC). Their role was to sort out the various finances of the Great War.
