WW2 Royal Army Veterinary Corps (RAVC) Bi - Metal Cap Badge, King's Crown - Firmin
King's crown bi - metal cap badge with original slider fitting to the reverse and maker marked Firmin London. A Centaur to the centre of a crowned laurel wreath above the title scroll. In very good condition. This pattern from 1919 until about 1957 when a QEII crown followed. A very pleasing example.

Royal Defence Corps (GV) 2nd Pattern Brass Cap Badge - Smith & Wright Ltd
Formed in 1916 and rebranded in 1936. With original slider (folded over as often found into a hairpin) with the correct format fort he maker's details Smith & Wright Ltd, Birmingham. During WW1 they provided many of the personnel needed to man the PoW camps. For the EDVIII issue the Corps underwent a change of title to the National Defence Company (see item 64683 above).
