This is a WW2 printed cloth formation sign badge to the 4th ANTI-AIRCRAFT DIVISION (Jon Mills BoBD 1211) in excellent worn condition. The badge was made by “Calico Printers”.

In very condition. Padded centre with the shield and cannons in bullion wire which was worn by officers of the Royal Army Ordnance Corps attached to the War Office. Davis describes as 'very rare'.

Left facing. Removed from uniform but in good overall condition.
Initially fought in Tunisia as part of 1st Army, through Italy as part of the 8th Army and also with 15th Army Group. At the war end was renumbered 1st Armoured Division.
