WW2 49th Infantry Division (West Riding) Original Printed Formation Sign Designation Flash
3rd Pattern as worn later in WW2, from April 1943 onwards. In bright unissued condition, mint.
The 49th.Division were part of 21st Army Group and landed with the invasion forces in Normandy in June 1944.

Embroidered black bull charging with red eyes, horns and hooves on a yellow felt rectangle. Gauze backing. In unissued condition.
